Pakistani troops engaged in heavy firing and mortar shelling on forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The flag was adopted by state constituent assembly on June 7, 1952. The three stripes represented the state’s three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Shah Faesal was detained at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, and will be put under house arrest in Kashmir.
