The controversial journalist was detained in a 2018 case of abetment of suicide of an interior designer and is likely to be taken to Raigad district of Maharashtra.
The case was lodged against them by Bandra police here in September after receiving a complaint from Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
The court also asked the channel about hashtags it aired related to Rhea Chakraborty.
Ssingh has also asked for the removal of all the ‘malicious footage and articles’ against him telecast/published by the channel.
Aamir Khan's production company, Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment were among those who approached court.

NBSA said Aaj Tak, Zee News and News 24 had violated guidelines on reportage and directed the channels to air an apology.

The report said that CBI will now concentrate its probe on what led to Rajput's suicide.
The 1987 batch IPS officer had strongly defended Kumar on the issue of institution of a CBI probe into the mysterious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
