Une femme dans la trentaine se serait noyée à Sainte-Mélanie

Des recherches étaient en cours dimanche.

Des recherches étaient en cours dimanche à Sainte-Mélanie, dans Lanaudière, pour retrouver une femme qui pourrait s'être noyée dans la rivière L'Assomption.

Les policiers de la Sûreté du Québec ont répondu à un appel, dimanche matin, vers 6h, qui signalait la disparition de la dame, âgée dans la trentaine.

Elle se trouvait sur un terrain de camping, à proximité de la rue Bernard, et elle pourrait avoir été emportée par le courant de la rivière.

Des policiers et des pompiers participent aux recherches, en zodiac notamment.
