Abby Sugar is from Ann Arbor, Mich., and moved to New York City to study at Barnard College. She graduated from Barnard with a degree in English literature and has worked as a freelance editor and personal trainer. Abby and her partner Sylvie Lardeux started Play Out Underwear in 2011 as a fun and sexy new option for women, a change from the stereotype of pink and girly underwear available on the market.
