Adam Rosante

Fitness trainer and author

Adam Rosante has one goal: to help you live a strong, balanced, healthy life… without losing any of the fun or style along the way. This driving mission has led him to quickly become one of America’s favorite Wellness and Fitness Experts. Adam is known the world over for his unique ability to simplify complicated info about food, fitness and self-development into easy-to-implement steps that anyone can take to lose weight, tone up and, most importantly, unlock their best selves, fast!

Hearst Digital Studios just tapped him to as a star on their brand new CosmoBody channel where he designs and appears in totally fresh and fun fitness and lifestyle videos. It’s basically Netflix for fitness and lifestyle programming.

Target immediately recognized Adam’s unique combination of expertise and accessibility and crowned him ambassador for their wildly popular C9 fitness apparel brand. His 60-Second Workout on Target’s A Bullseye View blog smashed the public’s notion that you need a lot of time to get a great workout.

Random House will release his first book, The 30 Second Body: Eat Clean, Train Dirty & Live Hard, an easy-to-follow 6-week fitness, diet and lifestyle program, in March 2015. It’s currently available for pre-order.

Named one of the sexiest trainers in the country by SELF magazine and one of the six hottest trainers to watch in 2014 by DETAILS, Adam has become a fixture in magazines, TV shows and blogs, but is as easy going and accessible as one of your crazy best friends.

Though you can see him and his tips in some of the glossiest magazines in print and top-rated shows on television, he’s proudest that when you Google him, you’ll find things like this from people across the country:
“This dude seems awesome…and so genuine…and offers real, authentic advice that is dogma-free.” – Shira Engel. College student. Quote posted on her blog after she discovered Adam’s nutrition advice in a Well+Good feature story.

In 2012, he founded The People’s Bootcamp, a pay-what-you-can fitness brand that is often referred to as the hardest workout in New York and that ELLE magazine calls “a populist antidote to the tyranny of $35 spin sessions.” It led Well+Good to dub him “the city’s very own fitness Che.” It was his way of making high-end boutique fitness accessible to everyone.

Adam is also the creator of WaveShape, a surf-inspired, equipment-free workout that he designed for surfer friends and then made available to all for free online. It’s used every day by thousands of people around the world from Montana to Morocco and is about to be distributed as a 12 workout DVD series and available as an online subscription program.

In 2013 he went on The Today Show for the first time and taught Kathie Lee and Hoda a radically effective workout using… wine. It showed more than 2 million viewers that you don’t have to take yourself so seriously or live a boring, restrictive life for it to be a healthy one.

Knowing that people would rather spend time laughing with friends and family than suffering in a gym, his tips and advice cut through the clutter and help people get in amazing shape, in body and mind, fast.

Adam was born on Long Island and lives in Manhattan and Montauk with his wife Kate and their rescued from a boatyard kitten, Annie.

He is certified as a CFT and Specialist in Fitness Nutrition through the International Sports Sciences Association. Adam is also a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. If you get the opportunity, ask him about that sometime.
