Adam Weinstein is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2012, he deployed to Afghanistan as part of a detachment from the 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company and served in support of Australia’s Special Operations Task Group in Uruzgan Province. He received his B.A. from the University of Miami (FL) and J.D. from Temple University (PA). Adam has written for Foreign Policy, the Atlantic Council’s Iran Insight blog, The Diplomat, and Newsweek. He regularly contributes to the London School of Economics Middle East Centre and South Asia Centre blogs. He is a policy associate at the National Iranian American Council.
