Adrian Tomine was born in 1974 in Sacramento, California. Since 1991 he has written and drawn the comic book series Optic Nerve, and his previous books include Shortcomings, Scenes from an Impending Marriage, and Summer Blonde. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
