Adrienne Trier-Bieniek, Ph.D. is Chair of Sociology and Anthropology at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. She is the editor of several books including The Beyonce Effect (McFarland 2017) and Feminist Theory and Pop Culture (Sense 2015), and is the author of Sing Us a Song, Piano Woman: Female Fans and the Music of Tori Amos (Scarecrow Press 2013).
