Aidan Key is the founder of Gender Diversity (www.genderdiversity.org), an organization dedicated to providing support and educational services regarding transgender and gender diverse children. He facilitates an expanding network of parent support groups and offers trainings and policy development for schools, organizations, and other youth-based agencies. Key produces the Gender Odyssey (www.genderodyssey.org) conference for families raising trans children, professionals seeking to expand their knowledge, and any community members interested in the thoughtful exploration of gender. He regularly presents at college campuses and has been featured on national and international television, radio, internet and print articles including The Oprah Winfrey Show, NPR's Fresh Air & Diane Rehm Show, Al Jazeera, MSNBC, and Larry King Live. Key is a co-author of Trans Bodies, Trans Selves (Oxford University Press, 2014) covering topics related to transgender children and co-author of Gender Cognition in Transgender Children (Psychological Science 2015). Aidan Key is a father, husband and an identical twin. He lives in Seattle.
