Alaina Sadick

Communications Consultant and Yoga Teacher

Alaina offers communication strategy and outreach support to several Washington, DC organizations, currently spending most of her time in her role as Outreach Director at Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, a nonprofit that exists to offer integrative healing resources to the community and those affected by cancer. Alaina also volunteers her time leading communications efforts for yoga nonprofit Anahata Grace, helping to promote their international training programs as well as affiliated local events such as the annual DC Global Mala Project. She has consulted with a variety of other health, wellness and arts organizations and is the former Director of Marketing for Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.

In 2010, after years of casual practice, Alaina embarked on a 200-hour yoga teacher training program in order to share the profound healing benefits of the her own practice with others. She now teaches regularly and is honored to have the opportunity to support the work of Anahata Grace and to help share these transformative healing tools with communities around the world who most need them.
