Alan Paul is the author of the New York Times bestseller One Way Out: The Inside History of the Allman Brothers Band (St. Martin's) and Big in China (Harper). The latter is a memoir about living in Beijing, raising three American children and fronting a Chinese blues group, Woodie Alan, which was named 2008 Beijing Band of the Year.
