Alex Myers teaches high school English in New Hampshire. He began work as an educator and advocate for transgender rights soon after coming out in 1995, when he was a senior in high school. Alex's debut novel, Revolutionary, was released from Simon & Schuster in 2014, and tells the story of his ancestor, Deborah Sampson, who disguised herself as a man and fought in the American Revolution. In addition to writing fiction and nonfiction, Alex also works with schools across the country, helping them design policy and facilities to support transgender students.
