Progeny of hard working, hard drinking sailor on one side, and menatally ill, isolated white trash on the other side, I grew up in the Delridge/White Center/High Point area southwest of Seattle. It surprised and scandalised everyone and no one when I departed, but they would have the last laugh now, as I have returned to the same isolated, mentally ill, blue collar background from whence I issued. However, I have migrated 50 miles north to Everett, WA. This may or may not be regarded as progress.
In the course of this progression, I have become well educated, have done work as varied as technical writing, truck driving, and accounting, and have acquired a passion for books, cats, and the wounded among us.
My spare time is devoted to writing novels.
