I work on the Futures team in Forum for the Future's New York office. I am fascinated by complex systems and have devoted my career to learning how systems work, assessing problems, and making them manageable.

I studied anthropology as an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon and after a few years in India and Sri Lanka went on to study a Masters in Foreign Service at Georgetown. Working for the US government as a research analyst I engaged with scenario models assessing critical areas including radicalisation, security in the Indian Ocean and water resources in the Middle East. Throughout my career I have learned about human culture, focusing on some immediate problems, and now, working towards creating positive long-term change.
