Alison Hard is a Tisch Scholar at the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education, and Policy (Tisch Food Center) at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she is working towards a Masters in Nutrition, Public Health, and Public Policy. She is also a Food Policy Intern in the Office of the Mayor of New York City. Her work as a Tisch Scholar focuses on the Tisch Food Center’s role as the co-convenor of the New York City Alliance for Child Nutrition Reauthorization, which is a diverse group of NYC stakeholders working for a strong CNR in 2015. She is a dedicated advocate for anti-hunger and nutrition programs, and for a more sustainable, just food system for all.
