Alissa Dean is a Los Angeles based writer/actress. She is a 2013 Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting Semifinalist for her feature screenplay "Cricket" which is currently in development with Chartoff Productions. Her writing has also been a finalist in The Page Awards, Script Pipeline, Cynosure and BlueCat Screenwriting competitions. Her first stage play "Survivors" made its world premiere January 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. She also pens the popular tumblr feed: "Zosia Mamet Hates You"

As an actress, Alissa is a graduate of NYU with a bachelor of music and performing arts and has been seen on "Californication", "Parenthood", "Awake", "Without A Trace", and "Cold Case" among others. She recently starred in the fully improvised feature film "Speak Now" which won the Audience Award at the 2013 Austin Film Festival.
