Alissa Dean is a Los Angeles based writer/actress. She is a 2013 Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting Semifinalist for her feature screenplay "Cricket" which is currently in development with Chartoff Productions. Her writing has also been a finalist in The Page Awards, Script Pipeline, Cynosure and BlueCat Screenwriting competitions. As an actress, Alissa is a graduate of NYU with a bachelor of music and performing arts and has been seen on "Californication", "Parenthood", "Awake", "Without A Trace", and "Cold Case" among others. She recently starred in the fully improvised feature film "Speak Now" which won the Audience Award at the 2013 Austin Film Festival.
