Aliya Manjee

Student, Marquette University

Aliya Manjee is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is currently a sophomore at Marquette University studying Economics and English, with a minor in women and gender studies. In student government, she serves as the President Pro-Tempore, is the senator for the College of Arts and Sciences, and is the chair of the Community Engagement Committee. She is also a member of the university president’s Taskforce on Equity and Inclusion. In her free time, she enjoys kickboxing, running by the beautiful Milwaukee lakefront and exploring all the unique things the city has to offer. She can be contacted at
