Alvin Lopez Woods is a New York City publicist and co-author of the first all-inclusive relationship book, The Best Workout Is "Sex": A Gay Guide to Your Ideal Marriage. He is an advocate of gay equality and has made it his personal mission to bring awareness to the importance of love and respect in any union, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

Alvin launched a budding, full-service communications, marketing, and public relations firm called The Media Model, which specializes in consumer, lifestyle, entertainment, and LGBT-focused brands. It is his mission to redefine traditional communication efforts and bring mainstream attention to products, services, and personalities that would otherwise be considered news for only minority groups such as LGBT people. Alvin hopes to serve as a voice for challenges that are faced in the LGBT community, such as HIV prevention, supporting gay family protection, transgender equality, and gay youth safety in schools.
