Author, 'Now What? A Patient's Guide to Recovery After Masectomy'

Amy Curran Baker, MA, OTR/L, has 15 years of experience as an occupational therapist. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and underwent a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. She is the author of Now What? A Patient’s Guide to Recovery After Mastectomy (Demos Health, 2012) which she co-authored with two of her sisters, both of whom are nurses. Ms. Baker is a graduate of Smith College and New York University. She lives in Westchester County with her husband and two daughters.
