Amy is an entrepreneur at heart. A marketing expert with a keen eye for design, she has worked in many capacities, always with an eye to building brands and businesses ranging from founding her own line of women’s fashion inspired activewear, <a href="http://materialusa.com/home.htm" target="_hplink">MATERIAL</a>, to managing brands at Unilever to overseeing marketing and design for Field & Stream. Amy has a marketing and communication company, <a href="http://jurkowitz.com/" target="_hplink">JURKOWITZ & Co</a>, which focuses on moving ideas into businesses. Jurkowitz & Co also develops and grows its own IP’s and Milkshake is one of them. <br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.getmilkshake.com/" target="_hplink">Milkshake</a>, a free daily email with a focus on all that’s good was founded in 2011. Milkshake covers companies, causes, people and products that are giving back and making a difference in the world. <br /> <br /> Amy graduated with a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg School of Management. In her spare time she runs around with her five kids ages 12 to 16; sits on the board of trustees of Greenwich Country Day School; advises Ashoka, a foundation with a focus on social entrepreneurship; judges undergraduate entrepreneurship contests; and runs road races whenever she can.
