Amy Palmer is a multiple-Emmy-Nominated TV Host, Journalist & Executive Producer.

Amy is the Founder & Host of PowerwomenTV (www.powerwomentv.com), an online series about women entrepreneurs and business leaders. PowerwomenTV reveals how successful women created their businesses, the steps they took to achieve their goals and how others can learn valuable work and life lessons from their journeys.

Amy can be seen on national and local television regularly as a pop culture expert and reporter, appearing on channels and programs such as MSNBC,The Today Show, CNN, Headline News, The Joy Behar Show, Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell, Showbiz Tonight, CBS Early Show, FOX, FOX Strategy Room, ABC News Now, Extra, MTV, The Insider, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition and LXTV.

She is the CEO/Founder of Tycooness Productions, LLC, a Manhattan-based production company. Tycooness is committed to developing, creating and producing multi-platform programming for women. Amy plans on using the Tycooness brand to fill the gap in the current state of women’s programming by focusing on women’s achievements in a positive, realistic and authentic manner.

Amy began her career at MTV Networks and went on to produce various programs for MTV, VH1 and MSNBC. While she loved being a producer, she decided to follow her lifelong ambition of being on the other side of the camera. She got her first on-air break at Plum TV in the Hamptons, where she created and hosted original programming such as The Hamptons Beach Concert Series and reported on social and entertainment events for The Plum TV Morning Show. Using her experience both on-camera and as a producer, Amy went on to create, produce and host New York 360, a local entertainment show in New York City that covered music, fashion, film, theatre, television, technology, publishing and everything in between. The show aired on NYCTV for four years and on WNBC-TV for a season, following The Martha Stewart Show, picking up several Emmy nominations along the way. Amy has also hosted numerous awards shows, including The Matrix Awards, The Broadcasting & Cable Awards, The Gotham Awardsand The New York Emmy Awards, along with dozens of red-carpet events.

Amy is a member of New York Women in Communications, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and Ladies Who Launch. Amy graduated from Boston University's College of Communication with a bachelors degree in Mass Communication. She lives in New York City.
