Amy York Rubin

Founder, Barnacle Studios and Strategic Productions

Amy Rubin is the founder of the digital content production and strategy firms Barnacle Studios (in Beta) and Strategic Productions (StP). StP develops digital strategy and content for good campaigns, causes and companies - fusing creativity with message control and targeted distribution.

Prior to founding StP, Amy led video and online communications efforts for Presidential, major Senate and advocacy campaigns. During the 2008 election cycle, in her role as a producer and New Media Communications Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Amy traveled across the country filming and interviewing voters and candidates from Alaska to Kentucky. Her work for the DSCC was featured in numerous local and national media outlets, including, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, The Rachel Maddow Show, The New York Times, The L.A. Times and the NPR program All Things Considered.

Amy is a graduate of Vassar College, with a BA in Political Science and Film Studies. Amy grew up in McLean, Virginia with several very important miniature poodles.
