Andrea Mérida Cuéllar

National Co-chair, Green Party of the United States

Andrea Mérida Cuéllar is a co-chair of the Green Party of the United States and the only Latina in national political party leadership today. As a co-founder of the Green Party's Latinx Caucus, she also serves as the co-chair of the Green Party of Colorado. Andrea was Denver's first Green-registered elected official, serving on the Denver Board of Education. She lives in Denver where she keeps a presence as a member of the local activist community, and she performs in a band called Gumbo le Funque. Andrea proclaims without hesitation that #blacklivesmatter.
