I am a PhD Candidate in Political Science at UC Berkeley. My research looks at nationalism and war, with a focus on how surges of nationalism from sporting events lead to conflict. I also study natural experiments in international relations, and I have MAs in Statistics and Political Science from UC Berkeley. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Political Science and Arabic.
