Andrew Fishman

President of Schonfeld Group Holdings

Andrew M. Fishman is the President of Schonfeld Group Holdings, parent company of the firm’s registered investment advisor, and a member of the firm’s four-person Executive Committee. Andrew joined Schonfeld in 2000 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel and was promoted to President in 2005. In his role at Schonfeld, Andrew manages all product development and investment activities. Andrew has been particularly instrumental in launching and overseeing the firm’s third-party quantitative and fundamental equity trading business . Andrew reports directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Steven Schonfeld. Prior to joining Schonfeld, during the period from 1989 to 2000, Andrew specialized in structuring private placements of equity and debt securities with UBS, Citibank, Capstar Partners and Salomon Brothers. During the prior five year period, 1984-1989, Andrew practiced law in the New York offices of Hunton & Williams and focused on highly-structured corporate finance transactions. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emory University in 1981 and a Juris Doctor degree with honors from Boston University School of Law in 1984.
