Andrew Wolf

As a graduate student of urban planning New York University in the early 1970’s, Andrew Wolf discovered that good communities don’t exist without good communication. So he started a newspaper in his Bronx neighborhood. Nearly 40 years later, he is still making trouble in his home borough as the Editor and Publisher of The Bronx Press Review and the Riverdale Review newspapers.

Commenting on public education has been Wolf’s main focus. His audience grew in 2002 when he began writing a regular column for The New York Sun, which continued until the print edition ceased publication in 2008. As Contributing Editor of the increasingly popular online edition of the reviving Sun, Wolf continues his fight, and manages to slay an occasional dragon.
