Andy Brack edits and publishes Statehouse Report, a weekly legislative forecast and syndicated newspaper column about South Carolina politics and policy. Brack, a former U.S. Senate press secretary and congressional candidate, also chairs the Center for a Better South, a regional think tank. Current chair of the Charleston County Public Library Board of Trustees and a past leader of several other civic organizations, Brack holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor's degree from Duke University. He and his family live in Charleston, S.C.
