Angelica Nwandu, a 25 year old graduate of Loyola Marymount University, developed a passion for writing that has translated into music, screenwriting, and a media empire. In 2014, Nwandu founded of one of the fastest growing Black Entertainment platforms that consists of over 10 million social media followers. Nwandu was the first to launch a media company on Instagram. Nwandu is a 2014 June and May Sundance Screenwriter fellow, a 2014 Time Warner Fellow, and was recently recognized on NBC: The Black List, Forbes 30 Under 30, The New York Times, & named on TIME Magazine's "30 Most Influential People On The Internet" list. Most importantly, Nwandu uses her past experiences in the foster care system to mentor and advocate for foster youth.
