Actress and Director

An award-winning actress and director, Anjelica Huston continues her renowned family's legacy in film. Huston won an Academy Award for Best Supporting actress for Prizzi's Honor making her family the first to include three generations of Oscar winners. She won a Golden Globe Award for her role in HBO's original movie Iron Jawed Angels. Huston recently finished filming Nick Moore’s Horrid Henry, a live action 3D film, based on the successful children’s books in the UK. She will next be seen in David Frankel’s The Big Year and Jonathan Levine’s Untitled Seth Rogen Comedy. She continues to voice the role of “Queen Clarion” in Disney’s Tinker Bell franchise. Additional film credits include memorable turns in The Dead, The Witches, The Grifters, Addams Family, Addams Family Values, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Royal Tenenbaums. Her directorial credits include the critically acclaimed Bastard Out Of Carolina and Agnes Browne. Television credits include Buffalo Girls, Lonesome Dove, The Mists of Avalon and recurring roles on Huff and Medium.

Huston currently serves on the Board of Directors at the National University of Ireland Galway’s John Huston School of Film and Digital Media. She is a member of the Film Foundation’s Artist’s Rights Council, an Ambassador for the California Arts Council, a member of the Save the Chimps advisory council and is a recent spokesperson for PETA and the US Campaign for Burma.
