Ann Werner is the author of the thrillers The People Next Door, Crazy, Dreams and Nightmares and Cooper's Grove. She also collaborated on two non-fiction books: The Virgin Diaries and Ain't No Sunshine: Men Reveal the Pain of Heartbreak. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and has lived in Florida, California and Arizona, where she was Secretary of the Democrats of the Verde Valley and worked to further blue causes in a red state.
