Annie McKenna Brothers is from the high desert in New Mexico and is happiest when a little bit sunburned, covered in dust and bouncing down some dirt road in the back of a truck. She was first published after entering a poetry contest in 1996 but it turned out to be a scam. Since then and until today, she's tried to go everywhere and see everything and is always writing words down.
