Annie Fox is an internationally respected parenting expert who empowers parents with the special support, leadership skills, and practical tools needed during our children’s tween and teen years. Fox is the host of the weekly video podcast Family Confidential: Secrets of Successful Parenting. She is also an award-winning blogger and author of numerous books for kids and parents. Her titles include: Teaching Kids to Be Good People, The Girls’ Q&A Book on Friendship, and the Middle School Confidential book and app series.

Annie is a parenting expert on Education.com, SocialMoms.com, and on Vidoyen.com. Since 1997 she answers daily email from teens and parents (30K+ to date). Some things haven't changed, like adolescent insecurities, relationship ups and downs, and power struggles with parents. But some things have totally changed, like the role of technology and social media in the lives of teens, the dangers of cyberbullying, and the need for parents to raise good digital citizens. Through it all, Annie is a wise mentor for parents and for young people who need help with the unique challenges of growing up in the 21st Century. Annie’s advice has been featured on CNN, Fox News, as well as in USA Today, SEVENTEEN, Parenting Magazine, Parents Magazine, and Better Homes and Gardens.

Annie is a dynamic speaker. Her humanistic approach to the parenting journey transcends all cultures, religions and socio-economic backgrounds. Annie’s personal warmth, and humorous teaching style encourages questions and thoughtful dialogue wherever she speaks. Her goal is to provide parents with strategies for staying connected with their tweens and teens in ways that respect the child’s growing need for independence coupled with their need for a strong family support network.

Annie Fox is an avid hiker, photographer, gardener, baker and yoga student. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, educational game-designer, David Fox, to whom she’s been happily married for 40 years. Annie and David have two awesome adult children, a grandchild, and a border collie pup named Gracie.
