Anthea Rowan

Wife, mother, writer; order changes depending on the demands and the day, how nicely I'm asked and the proclivities of individuals involved.

Born and raised in Africa, Anthea Rowan is a wife and mother whose other life as a freelance journalist was a happy accident born of a controversial idea for a story and the subsequent baptism of fire at the hands of a formidable editor at The Times in London. Since then she has continued to write at both the British and American press.

She lives in western Tanzania with her husband, their three children and a menagerie of animals. She describes her life here, https://reluctantmemsahib.wordpress.com and motherhood/marriage/madness here, https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/living-around-the-blues
