Anurag Gupta is the Founder & CEO of Be More America, which trains professionals in evidence-based mindfulness tools to eliminate the influence of unconscious bias in their decisionmaking. #BreakingBias

Anurag has dedicated his career to innovating solutions to society’s intractable challenges. He previously developed a program to foster critical thinking among Burmese youth; supported women’s groups from around the world to express grievances to international treaty bodies; designed a research project that identified the root causes of race-based disparities in America; published academic articles on triple-bottom-line corporate structures; and served as a Fulbright Teaching Fellow in rural South Korea.

Anurag is a current Nathan Cummings Foundation Fellow. He has a JD from NYU School of Law, a master’s from Cambridge, and a bachelor’s in International Relations and Islamic Studies from NYU. He is a member of an emerging national network of engaged Buddhists called Buddhists for Racial Justice and Middle Collegiate Church in NYC. He enjoys listening to pop songs and looking at puppies on Instagram in his spare time. @AnuragNYC
