Anurag Gupta

Anurag Gupta is the Founder & CEO of Be More America, which trains professionals in evidence-based mindfulness tools to eliminate the influence of unconscious bias in their decisionmaking. #BreakingBias

Anurag has dedicated his career to innovating solutions to society’s intractable challenges. He previously developed a program to foster critical thinking among Burmese youth; supported women’s groups from around the world to express grievances to international treaty bodies; designed a research project that identified the root causes of race-based disparities in America; published academic articles on triple-bottom-line corporate structures; and served as a Fulbright Teaching Fellow in rural South Korea.

Anurag is a current Nathan Cummings Foundation Fellow. He has a JD from NYU School of Law, a master’s from Cambridge, and a bachelor’s in International Relations and Islamic Studies from NYU. He is a member of an emerging national network of engaged Buddhists called Buddhists for Racial Justice and Middle Collegiate Church in NYC.
