Ann Tashi Slater's work has been published by The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Granta en español, and AGNI, among many others, and is forthcoming in Tin House. Her writing appears in Women in Clothes (Penguin) and American Dragons (HarperCollins). Her translation of fiction by Reinaldo Arenas was published in Old Rosa (Grove). Current projects include a novel related to the after-death "bardo" and her Tibetan family history, and a memoir about a modern-day pilgrimage to India.
