Millions of babies born in the U.S. have benefited from the knowledge and expertise of AWHONN nurses. The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric & Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) represents 350,000 nurses in the U.S. who all share the same goal: to promote the health of women and newborns. AWHONN members are registered nurses, nurse practitioners, certified nurse-midwives, researchers, and clinical nurse specialists who work in hospitals, physicians’ offices, universities and community clinics throughout the United States.
