Aysha Mahmood graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014 with a B.A. in journalism and political science. After writing for her college newspaper, Aysha worked at the Journal Inquirer the following year. When she isn't writing, the Huffington Post Contributor can be found taking pictures of her dog, watching reruns of ’90s shows, or eating an obsessive amount of chocolate chip cookie dough. Her parents and sister, as always, serve as her inspiration.
