My motivation is to help close the gap between rhetoric and action on climate change. At the moment I'm doing a PhD in history of science at Stanford on the intersection of science, politics, and public policy. I'm also an Associate at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where I did a PhD in applied physics focusing on laser processing of silicon for solar cells. While at Harvard I also worked at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, focusing on climate resilience in the Philippines. I like to write on climate, particularly fossil fuel divestment, in the popular media. My work has appeared in outlets including The Guardian, The Nation, Boston Review, and Huffington Post.
