Human rights lawyer
Beatrice Lindstrom is a human rights lawyer and Staff Attorney at the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti (IJDH), a U.S.-based organization that fights for the rights of Haiti's poor and currently represents 5,000 victims of cholera in Haiti in their claims for reparations from the UN. Beatrice has worked on economic and social rights advocacy in a number of settings, including within the U.N. system, in U.S. courts, and in tsunami-affected areas of Thailand. She is a graduate of NYU School of Law.
