Ben Stein

IFAW Honorary Board Member Ben Stein is an author, a print and television journalist, economist, lawyer and actor in motion pictures, television and commercials. His role as the boring teacher Mr. Cantwell in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was recently ranked as one of the fifty (50) most famous scenes in all of American film. From 1997 to 2002, he was the host of the Comedy Central game show titled "Win Ben Stein's Money" which won seven (7) Emmy Awards. Mr. Stein was also a judge on CBS's "Star Search" and on VH-1's "America's Most Smartest Model". He is currently an on-air commentator for the news show "CBS Sunday Morning”, and a regular panelist on the Saturday morning Fox Business Network Television news show, "Cavuto on Business".

He lives with his wife, Alexandra Denman, a retired lawyer, six cats and two dogs in Beverly Hills. Mr. Stein is active in pro-animal charitable events.
