From writing hits for other artists to recording her own, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Nashville based singer-songwriter has truly embraced musical diversity. A breast cancer survivor, environmental activist, teacher of workshops and lecturer on the magic of creativity, which she believes is a birthright of everyone, Beth’s passion, when you get right down to it is still ‘the song’. She has penned numerous hits and written songs for many top artists including Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Bette Midler, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Michael McDonald, Amy Grant, Keb Mo’, Roberta Flack, Waylon Jennings, Faith Hill, Willie Nelson, and many more. Beth’s music has shown up on ER, Dawson's Creek, Providence, Felicity and in movie soundtracks, including “The Prince of Egypt, “Message In A Bottle”, “The Rookie”, “Where The Heart Is” and “Practical Magic”. Mega-hit "This Kiss”, ASCAP'S 1999 Song Of The Year, sung by Faith Hill garnered her a Grammy nomination. Nashville NAMMY'S 1999 Songwriter of the Year.

But it is her groundbreaking “Sand & Water” and other songs rendered as she has written her way through her grief coming through life’s twists and turns that have inspired, healed and brought so much comfort to others. Through the amazing journey of her life, her songs always finds her delving back into the roots of her heart mining for treasure deep in the trenches of love and life.
