As the founder of The Buckeye Group, Billy Goldberg advises companies on developing new business and creating revenue streams through meaningful strategic partnerships. Billy also serves as the Managing Director, Sports and Entertainment at Link Strategy Group where he recently completed a deal bringing Strike Spirits to market and now works with the Underline a $150 million public-private partnership in Miami. A results-driven advisor, he brings imagination and drive, envisioning and delivering relationships that spark growth and create enduring value. Billy's hallmark is identifying a company's "white space"– the unrealized areas of opportunity and growth – connecting the right partners and creating the optimal conditions for conversation. At The Buckeye Group he has generated more than $50 million in new revenue for clients such as The Miss America Organization and DirecTV. He currently works with the portfolio companies of LOUD Capital, a Venture Capital fund in Ohio, in which he serves as an advisor. Prior to forming The Buckeye Group, Billy ran the West Coast office of HighSchoolSports.net and later at USAToday.com after Gannet’s acquisition, securing new business with clients such as Nike, Gatorade, Universal Pictures and The US Army National Guard that resulted in revenue growth of 400%. At the Tennis Channel, Billy delivered clients such as Lexus, Land Rover and Paramount Pictures and managed existing agency and client relationships with Acura, Franklin Templeton and eHarmony. Billy was Vice President at Bank of America managing $200mm worth of assets and was consistently a President's Club member. As an agent at The William Morris Agency, Billy represented writers as well as production companies, and staffed iconic television shows like Friends and South Park. Billy is a board member of Urban Fitness 911, served as Co-chairman of Melissa’s House, occasionally writes for the Huffington Post, has performed stand up at the Improv in Hollywood, is an angel investor and speaks at colleges about success and leadership.
