Author

Bill Manville is a former Village Voice columnist (“Saloon Society”) and a Contributing Editor for Helen Gurley Brown at Cosmo. He is the author of six books published by major New York houses -- one a Book-of-the-Month. He wrote Cool, Hip & Sober after drinking his way into two New York hospitals in ten days -- his kidneys too alcohol-paralyzed to pee. He is now sober over 20 years.
PS- "The Running Picador" is from the ebook version of "Saloon Society" available at all the usual places
