Paralympic athlete in rowing and cross country. World Rowing Champion 2014. Working towards Paralympics in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, in 2016.Politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, and a permanent member of the Committee of Finance in the City Council of Oslo, the capitol of Norway.

Runs her own company, and is also working 25 % as an adviser for the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and confederation of sports. She has been involved in proving strengths and abilities with people with disabilites after she herself got paralyzed due to a medical errror in 2009. Appointed by the Norwegian Government as a permanent member of the Norwegian National Advisory Board of Biotechnology.

Was in 2011 a part of an expedition that made it through 600 km of wilderness in Norwegian forest, mountains and marsh, to finally climb one of the tallest mountains in the country. She is probably the first ever to climb this 2 287 m high mountain on her butt. The expedition was filmed and sent as a documentary/reality in Norway in 2012.
