Bob Keefe

Executive director, E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs)

Bob Keefe spent more than 20 years as a journalist covering business, politics and the environment before becoming executive director of Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), a national, non-partisan group of business leaders, investors and others who advocate for smart environmental policies that can lead to economic growth. E2's members have collectively founded or funded more than 2,500 companies that have created more than 500,000 jobs. Together, they manage more than $100 billion in venture and private equity funds and do business in nearly every state in the country. Prior to joining E2 and its affiliate, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), Bob was the Washington correspondent for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper. He also worked as a national reporter covering the West for Cox Newspapers; as technology editor for the Austin (Texas) American-Statesman and as a business and investigative reporter for the St. Petersburg (Fla) Times. He also has co-authored or edited several business books. Bob is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
