Blair Smith

Blair Smith did not begin as a hunter. And, you won’t see her use huntress to describe herself nor find her in pink camo. Ironically, she began as a vegetarian. Her writing career started at a worldwide women’s empowerment organization and developed into an editor exploring the connection and responsibility with food harvesting. What originated as an opportunity to work with gardening companies on a grant against hunger, became a freelance career about our connection to food and supporting women’s futures in outdoor sports and recreation. Blair is based in the Piedmont of North Carolina and enjoys fly fishing, coastal food harvesting, hunting, shooting skeet, organic gardening, trail running, wildlife conservation… and teaching all of this to her twin daughters.
