Robert A. Rees

Visiting Professor Graduate Theological Union and UC Berkeley

Robert A. Rees, Ph.D., is a scholar, teacher, and humanitarian. He has taught at UCLA and UC Santa Cruz and currently teaches at Graduate Theological Union and, on occasion, UC Berkeley. He was also a Fulbright Scholar to the Baltic States. Rees as served in a number of administrative positions in higher education, including as Assistant Dean of Fine Arts at UCLA, Director of Studies for the UCLA/Cambridge Program and the UCLA/Royal Colleges of Arts and Music Programs (in London). He has published widely on subjects and issues related to education, the humanities, and gender and sexuality. He is the co-founder and current vice-president of the Liahona Children's Foundation, a non-profit that addresses malnutrition in the developing world. Currently, he lives in Northern California.
