Bob Ross

President and CEO, Inasmuch Foundation and Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation

Bob Ross is president and CEO of Inasmuch Foundation and Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation. The foundations were founded by Edith Kinney Gaylord in 1982 and have pledged a total of $2.1 million to tornado recovery efforts in Oklahoma.

Ross is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma. Ross is a member of the following boards of directors: Colorado College, Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma Public School Resource Center, Oklahoma Watch, OKC Quality Schools, John W. Rex Elementary School, OU College of International Studies Board of Visitors, OU Foundation, Smart Start Central Oklahoma, Sunbeam Family Services, Oklahoma City Educare, Tulsa Educare, Teach for America-Oklahoma City and Westminster School.

In 2011, Ross was appointed by Gov. Mary Fallin to serve on the Teacher and Leader Effectiveness Commission. He was also presented with the 2011 Plaza District Association’s “Urban Pioneer Award” and the 2012 OKC Beautiful’s “Mayor’s Award for Distinguished Service.”
