Bobby Laurie currently serves as Executive Producer and co-host of the nationally syndicated travel talk show The Jet Set, appears as a travel expert on the CNN Airport Network. Previously, he served as a travel correspondent for The Daily Buzz and The Better Show.
His background in the travel industry dates back to November 2005 when he was first hired as a flight attendant for US Airways. He quickly moved up the ladder through the industry and became an Analyst in InFlight Policies & Procedures for US Airways. He eventually left his post in 2007 to return to life as a flight attendant for Virgin America before resigning in March of 2015.
A collection of his funny, sad and heartwarming stories from the sky were published into a book titled Planely Speaking: Inflight Insight from Thirty Thousand Feet.
