Congressman Brad Sherman, from Sherman Oaks, was born and raised in southern California and represents California’s San Fernando Valley. He has been in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1997, serving his eleventh term in Congress. Congressman Sherman is a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He serves as the ranking Democrat on the Subcommittee on Asia, and the second ranking Democrat on the Subcommittee on Europe and Eurasia. Sherman is a Chairman Emeritus of the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade. He is also a senior member of the Financial Services Committee.
